London Irish Center

James McSweeney Solicitors has been offering telephone/email pro bono legal advice to clients of the London Irish Centre Charity (LICC) since spring 2016. This has been an invaluable adjunct to LICC’s own social welfare advice service, and has enabled clients, many of whom are on a low income, to access short-intervention, free advice and also information about other agencies that can assist them. McSweeney’s work dovetails with that provided by a parallel UK law pro bono advice resource used by LICC, which is of particular value in helping clients navigate their way through property and probate issues that cross the UK and Irish jurisdictions.
